Prêt-à-Template for Fashion Schools!

If you read about me, or watched the video release knows that I am a Fashion Teacher, and I had created this App to fill a need in one of my teaching classes:

“…the first idea came in one of my classes: the matter was fashion hand drawing and i had to display in a big board how to draw the different types of collar, lapels, sleeves, dresses, skirts in a size that everybody could see… the result was awful so I search an other way to present it: I found in the iPad my solution: with one of the many sketches apps I could connect the tablet into a projector!!! and than: the problem was solved and an idea of app was born!”

Last week I received an other amazing feedback from a Fashion School based in Redditch UK – Inkberrow Design Centre. The Fashion Illustrator teacher Lucinda Holbrook told me that they are using the App in their classes:foto-5This is such an inspirational picture for all Prêt à Template Team: because the main purpose of creating this tool was to assist the Fashion Drawing lessons!

here’s how it works:

the app serves as a teaching tool: connecting the tablet (ipad) in to the projector (via a vga cable) the teachers are able to present the whole process of fashion drawing in an easily way more detailed (zoom) and with excellent visibility to all:

and the students can follow the lesson drawing on the paper templates: prêt-à-templatethe offers you the option to download templates free in two sizes a4 and / or a5, you can even choose the gridlines colors to print: either in black, medium gray or light gray!
